VisitMalaysia2020 Logo Design Contest Is Now Open to ALL Malaysians

Logo designers! Its time to put your creative hats on 🎩🎩

The Ministry of Tourism, Arts & Culture is inviting all Malaysians to submit their design ideas for creating a logo for the #VisitMalaysia2020 campaign.

The contest was announced by Minister Datuk Mohamaddin Ketapi at a recent press conference.

According to Datuk Mohamaddin Ketapi, the contest is open to all Malaysians above 18 years of ageand only a single entry is allowed per participant.

As reported by Malay Mail, the main aim of this competition is sustainable eco-tourism with a focus on culture. So the participants are encouraged to design a logo that truly represents our Malaysian culture.

Ok so here’s the most awaited part…drumrollssss….Cash PRIZES 💰💰

The winner of the contest takes away a certificate and a cash prize of RM3,000. The 1st and 2nd runners up will receive RM2000 and RM1000 in cash respectively, along with certificates.

There are also consolation cash prizes worth RM 250 each for 5 more participants along with a certificate.

The winning entry will be used in the promotional campaigns of Visit Malaysia 2020 (and you will get bragging rights during mamak sessions with your friends 🤩).

Here are some ground rules for sending in your entries (as published in www.tourism.gov.my):

  • The contest is open between March 11 to March 24, 2019.
  • Winners will be announced on April 12.
  • Each entry should contain the logo design and the rationale behind it. While the logo should have only English words, the rationale needs to be written in Malay and English.
  • For more information on this, you can log on to www.tourism.gov.my, www.malaysia.travel and www.motac.gov.my.
